Dawn Quaid-i-Azam Trophy: ADBP on top against Pakistan Reserves

Lahore, Nov 29: Agriculture Development Bank of Pakistan (ADBP) gained an overall lead of 247 runs over Pakistan Reserves on the third day of the Quaid-i-Azam Cricket Trophy match at the Qadhafi Stadium on Monday.

ADBP reached 181 for four in their second inningswhen the umpires decided to stop the game due to bad light with four overs remaining. Imran Abbas, who had top-scored with 87in the first innings was batting on 65.

Earlier, Pakistan Reserves were bowled out 252 in their first innings - which gave ADBP a lead of 66 - due to some excellent bowling by Azhar Abbas, who claimed five for 58. He was supported well by fellow-paceman Tahir Mahmood, who took three for 85 and off-spinner Mohammad Asif two for 45.

Imran Farhat top-scored for Pakistan Reserves with 48 in 79 minutes while skipper Ahmar Saeed made 42 and Shoaib Malik 30. Ahmar and Saeed added 63 for the seventh wicket in 122 minutes
