Dawn Nyler takes over as new physiotherapist

Lahore, Oct 3: Pale Nyler, the new physiotherapist of Pakistan cricket team started his job at the Qadhafi Stadium on Sunday where the national training camp is in progress.

Nyler's services were hired by the Pakistan Cricket Board in place of Den Keisel who has completed his term (World Cup-96 to World Cup-99).

The camp was set up to finalise Pakistan team for the forthcoming Sharjah Trophy to be held at Sharjah from Oct 13.

The captain Wasim Akram also joined the camp on Sunday. However, Shoaib Akhtar could not reach so far from London where he is being treated for his shoulder problem.

He is expected to join the camp on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the PCB has imported a bowling machine which is being used in the training camp. The machine can bowl with a speed of one to 99 miles per hours. It also has the ability to bowl in and out swing.
