"We have had a detailed discussion on the prevailing cricket affairs in the country particularly the burning issue between Pakistan Cricket Board Adhoc Committee and KCCA which had prompted KCCA to seek legal remedy.
KCCA recognizing the gesture of goodwill extended by the PCB Chairman, of the apex body of cricket in Pakistan and after discussion held in an atmosphere of cordiality and goodwill, KCCA committed to extend its full support to PCB for the promotion and uplift of Cricket in the country. PCB Chairman recognized that the objective of both PCB and KCCA is to promote the game. Hence it was decided to work together to achieve the same goals.
KCCA has appreciated the efforts of Mr. Mujeeb ur Rehman Khan, Chairman PCB Adhoc Committee for his instructions for installation of flood lights at National Stadium Karachi and his keenness to provide more facilities for cricket in the country, particularly in Karachi.
In the light of the spirit of cordiality the KCCA agreed in principle not to pursue the pending litigation in the Sindh High Court. PCB and KCCA have decided to direct their respective attorneys to work out the modalities and to sort them out amicably and through consensus".
