CFX ACADEMY 2001 INTAKE

Terry Duffin from Plumtree and Zimbabwe Under-19, is the fifth member from Matabeleland to be accepted into the academy next year.

ACADEMY PROFILES

Wisdom Siziba Date of birth 26 October 1980 Bulawayo RHB WK

Attended Mtshingwe Primary School and Emakhandeni Secondary School where he began his cricket career playing first team and Matabeleland Under-13 in 1992.

In 1995 he began playing for Bulawayo Development and continued until 1998 when in 1999 he joined B.A.C. (Bulawayo Athletics Club). Wisdom has played provincial cricket for Matabeleland from 1998 and made his first class debut earlier this year against Manicaland where he carried his bat (40 not out 240 minutes 156 balls, 3 x 4 in 150 all out). In 1999-2000 he was named Matabeleland Player of the Year and awarded the Percy Mansell Trophy.

Attended St. Thomas Aquarius, olts X1 1992-1993 1st X1 captain in 1994. Christian Brother’s College Under-14 A, Under-15 A, Under-16 A, CBC first XI, captain and colours 1999-2000. Southern Africa CBC X1 1998-2000. Matabeleland Captain Under-12 1993-94, Under-14 1995, Under-16 captain 1997 and Matabeleland Logan Cup 1999-2000. Zimbabwe Schools Under-12 1993-1994, Under-15 1995. Zimbabwe Development XI Africa Cup Nairobi, Kenya. National League for B.A.C.

Also played rugby Matabeleland Under-16 1997 and C.B.C first XV 2000
