Sebastianites created the upset of the season when they secured an eight wickets victory Nondescript Cricket Club, to ensure a place in the final of the Under 23 Division One Tournament.
Resuming from their overnight score of 46 for three, the NCC youngsters struggled against the Sebastianites pace attack. Led by Dinusha Fernando, who ripped out the heart of the middle order in the morning session, Sebastianites bowled out NCC for a palty 103. Thus, despite surrendering a 24 run lead after the first innings, the Moratuwa based team were only required to chase 128 for victory.
They ran into early problems when they lost their first wicket with the score on just 14. Akalanka Ganegama capturing the wicket of opening bat M.P. Fernando.
