Injured shoulder sidelines Harvey
Victorian Cricket Association - 18 October 2000
Bushrangers all-rounder Ian Harvey today underwent minor arthroscopic surgery on his injured right shoulder. It is expected that Harvey will miss between two to three weeks while in rehabilitation, ruling him out of next week’s Pura Cup and Mercantile Mutual Cup matches against NSW at Punt Road.
Harvey sustained the injury in an on-field mishap during the ICC Knockout Cup in Kenya. Attempting to field a ball off his own bowling, Harvey fell awkwardly on his right shoulder and has been troubled by the injury since his return to Australia.
