Pakistan retain same squad for 3rd ODI 28 October 2000
The Pakistan cricket selectors retained the same 15 for third and the decisive match of the one-day series to be played at Rawalpindi on Monday next. Chairman of selectors Wasim Bari told reporters that there was no need for a change after the Pakistan team found its lost touch. He said Inzamam-ul-Haq was fine despite being out of the field for nearly 41 overs. "He has a bruised arm. He is icing it and should be fit for the match." Inzamam said the injury was not serious but admitted that it had shocked him. "It was a full-blooded shot by Alec (Stewart). I am lucky to escape with serious injury." Inzamam, the Pakistan vice-captain who completed 1,000 runs in calendar year in Karachi, was struck by a forceful drive by Stewart who had danced down the track against Wasim Akram.
