J&K dismiss Haryana for 174 30 October 2000
Jammu & Kashmir did well in dismissing Haryana for 174 on the opening day of their North Zone Ranji Trophy league match at the Maulana Azad stadium in Jammu on Monday. At close J&K were 24 for one. Put in to bat, Haryana lost wickets at regular intervals and would have been in a worse plight but for a gallant 44 by skipper Parinder Sharma and some valuable contributions from the last three batsmen Pankaj Thakur (15), Vineet Jain (16) and Feroz Ghyas (14 not out) who lifted the score from 98 for seven. Parinder Sharma faced 106 balls and hit five boundaries. Abdul Qayyum, with four for 36, was the most successful bowler. © CricInfo
