Israr Ahmed appointed as Special Investigator by PCB

Pakistan Cricket Board has appointed Mr. Israr Ahmed, former Inspector General of Police Islamabad, as it's Special Investigator to liaise with ICC's Anti Corruption Unit on investigative matters concerning betting, gambling and match fixing in cricket.
Mr. Israr Ahmed, holds a BA/LLB degree and belongs to a cricketing family. His father, Dr. Dilawar Hussain, a former Test Player who represented India, has served as Chairman Selection Committee of BCCP (now PCB). His brother Mr. Waqar Ahmed, a former first class player, has been Secretary of the PCB.
