Speaking upon his return to Sri Lanka after his team's triumphant performance in the final of the Sharjah Gold Cup Sanath Jayasuriya, the Sri Lankan captain, has distanced himself from the cricket board crisis, which has engulfed the administration in the past three-weeks. "The team never thinks about changes in the administration of the cricket board," he told the Sunday Island. "As players we concentrate on the game. We have an excellent management team and play the game with their support. We have no problem with the administrative changes in the board." The team were received by the Interim Committee on Monday night and congratulated on their performance in Sharjah. They now take a two-week break after an exhausting five-month season, before commencing training for a triangular with India and New Zealand, which commences in early July. © CricInfo
