BOMBAY - India have recalled leg-spinner Narendra Hirwani and wicket-keeper Nayan Mongia in a 14-man squad for the first cricket Test against Australia starting in Bombay on February 27.
Two uncapped players -- middle-order batsman Hemang Badani and left-arm spinner Rahul Sanghvi -- were included in the squad named today.
Australia will play three Tests and five one-day internationals on their tour.
India squad: Saurav Ganguly (captain), Sadagopan Ramesh, Shiv Sundar Das, Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar, Vangipurappu Laxman, Hemang Badani, Nayan Mongia, Javagal Srinath, Zaheer Khan, Ajit Agarkar, Rahul Sanghvi, Harbhajan Singh, Narendra Hirwani.
