Dahiya to lead Board President's XI against Australia

Former Indian wicketkeeper Vijay Dahiya will lead the Board President's XI
in the three-day cricket match against the touring Australians to be played
in New Delhi from March 6 to 8. Mumbai opener Vinayak Mane who was rated
high by Australian paceman Glenn McGrath has been included in the side.
India Under-19 opener Gautam Gambhir who made an impact during the recently
concluded series against the English Colts is also named in the squad.
Mumbai's Ramesh Powar, Jammu and Kashmir's Surinder Singh and Punjab
southpaw Dinesh Mongia also find a place in the squad while leg spinner
Narendra Hirwani and off spinner Sarandeep Singh also get a chance to
impress the selectors in time before the second Test at Calcutta, to be
played from March 11 to 15.
