Former Kent Captain Steve Marsh joins PCA Management Ltd PCA Media Release - 16 January 2001
Steve Marsh has joined The Professional Cricketers Association's commercial arm, PCA Management Ltd, as Commercial Executive. He will work on key commercial projects and will be working closely with Gladstone Small on the development of the PCA in the Community programme. As a player he was capped by Kent in 1982 and captained the county for three and a half years between 1986 and 1998. Highlights of his cricket career include: Two one day England "A" caps in 1991 versus Sri Lanka. World record of eight catches in an innings versus Middlesex in 1991. Captain when Kent won the AXA League in 1995. (Mark Benson injured for the second half of the season). Captain when Kent achieved second place in the Championship the Sunday League and the Benson and Hedges Trophy in 1997. Richard Bevan, Managing Director, PCA Management Ltd, said, "We are delighted to have Steve on board. He is a good communicator and well respected within the game. I am sure he will be a great asset to the organisation and we are all looking forward to working with him."
