Amendment to Ridley Jacobs suspension
ZCU Media Release - 7 July 2001
As a result of having been advised of certain media information it has been confirmed by Gregory Shillingford, Chief Executive Officer of the West Indies Cricket Board, that Ridley Jacobs will not be touring Kenya after the completion of the Zimbabwe Tour.
Taking everything into consideration the ICC Referee, Denis Lindsay, has decided to revoke his earlier suspension of Ridley Jacobs, dated 5 July 2001, and now imposes a new sanction as follows:
"Mr Ridley Jacobs has now been suspended from the 2nd Test Match between Zimbabwe and the West Indies starting at Harare Sports Club on Friday 27 July 2001."
