Kerry Jeremy
Wisden CricInfo staff - July 6, 2001
Wisden overview Kerry Jeremy is hardly the paciest of pacemen - Ian Chappell jokingly described him as the slowest West Indian fast bowler he'd ever seen - but he is a gutsy performer, who has had more than his fair share of bad luck. On his first Test tour, to Australia in 2000-01, Jeremy's jaw was broken in two places by a bouncer from Western Australia's Matt Nicholson. The following winter he was flown out to Zimbabwe as a replacement, but promptly flew home again with a serious back strain. He was given an extended run in the West Indian one-day side against South Africa early in 2001, but failed to impress. Unusually for a fast bowler, he is also an emergency wicketkeeper.
