Shane Lee
Wisden CricInfo staff - June 26, 2001
Wisden overview Shane Lee, eldest of a trio of serious cricketing brothers from near Wollongong, is a free-flowing batsman and fast-medium bowler who attacks in all his endeavours, which can mean that he make his runs in a rush, but sometimes can give them away quickly too. Recruited by Somerset in 1996 as a bowler, his natural Australian length proved expensive, but he topped the batting averages. A Test future looks unlikely, but he is near to Australia's best one-day team. Latterly, he has captained New South Wales. Greg Baum
