Craig McMillan
Wisden CricInfo staff - June 26, 2001
Wisden overview Every cricket team needs someone with a little urchin impishness in his make-up, and the boisterous McMillan provides that with his hard-hitting right-hand batting and his medium-fast bowling, depending equally on aggression and optimism. Helped by a quick eye and a bold heart, McMillan has had some spectacular times - especially in early 2001 when he smashed a 75-ball 104 not out in a one-day game against Pakistan, and then hit 26 runs in one over in a Test on his way to a 97-ball 98. With his fondness for verbals on the field, McMillan is sometimes regarded as tiresome, going on boorish - but then he can captivate the harshest critic with a dazzling display of daring strokeplay.
