Hamish Marshall
Wisden CricInfo staff - June 26, 2001
Wisden overview The latest part of the Northland talent flow started by Matthew Bell, Hamish Marshall stole a march on his identical twin James by winning a Test cap as a replacement with New Zealand in South Africa in 2000-01. Hamish followed this with a solid rather than spectacular first-class season with Northern Districts. His right-hand batsmanship is built on solid, orthodox lines, and he is an expert cover-point fieldsman. Selectors should beware. Only they and their mother can tell which is Hamish and which is James when they wear identical clothes. Don Cameron
