Pitch committee happy with Eden Gardens pitch

The Board of Control for Cricket in India's (BCCI) pitch committee members
Dhiraj Parsanna and Kasturirangan today inspected the track at the Eden Gardens and expressed satisfaction over pitch preparations.
The two members visited the Eden Gardens, the venue of the second Test
between India and Australia beginning from March 11, and spent about one
hour at the stadium.
Both Parsanna and Kasturirangan had a good look at the pitch and talked
with the curator Prabir Mukherjee and other Cricket Association of Bengal
(CAB) officials before returning to their hotel.
"They have expressed satisfaction. They were very happy with the pitch
prepared for the second test", CAB joint secretary, Debdas Banerjee told
PTI in Kolkata.
The two members will now inspect the track at the MA Chidambaran stadium in
Chennai where the third and final Test is scheduled to be held from March 18.
