Lord MacLaurin, Chairman of the England & Wales Cricket Board, reacting to the publication today of Lord Condon's Report, said:
"This is a very thorough, revealing and important report which gives ICC much to consider and they will need to decide how to respond.
"ICC must act decisively - and be seen to be doing so by the general public - to restore the long-standing good reputation of cricket.
"Corruption cannot be tolerated and my own Board will certainly deal very harshly with any English player found guilty of corruption."
