Delegates arrive to attend ACC meeting Sports Correspondent - 24 May 2001
Delegations from India, Bangladesh and United Arab Emirates have arrived in the Punjab capital to attend the ACC meeting to be held in Lahore on May 25. The delegations from Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Nepal, Thailand and the Asian Cricket Foundation chairman Jagmohan Dalmiya will be arriving on May 24. Officials from Qatar, Oman, Kuwait and Hong Kong will reach on the day of the meeting. The ACC will take decisions regarding holding of the second Asian Test Championship, in which the matches between Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will be held on home and away basis. Pakistan won the first edition of the championship. Meanwhile, the arrangements will also be discussed to hold of the Asia Cup-2002 which is being hosted for the first time by Pakistan.
