NBP and Customs hold onto their top positions after the end of 7th round of Patron's Trophy Grade-I Tournament with 48 and 42 points each, while WAPDA are 3rd with 36 points.

Customs v PIA
Customs got three points after their 1st inning's lead in a drawn match against a weakened PIA side. Customs won the toss and scored 461 with Agha Sabir's brilliant 196 and forced PIA to follow-on after they made only 175. Waqar Ahmed the Custom's left arm pacer was the main striker with 6 wickets. PIA batted responsibly in the 2nd innings and scored 520 losing 4 wickets at the close of match. Faisal Iqbal and Asif Mujtaba played a major hand scoring 171 and 122 each to save the match.

KRL v ABL
KRL's 120 runs lead gave them a boost by three points. ABL won the toss and elected to bowl first. KRL scored 389 with their captain hitting 137 and got ABL out at 269. Usman Tariq made 80 while Naeem Akhtar grabbed 5 wickets. KRL scored 286 losing 6 wickets and the match drawn. Misbah-ul-Haq was unbeaten at 109.

ADBP v PWD
ADBP won by an innings and 6 runs. ADBP bowled PWD out at 124 after winning the toss and managed a 1st inning lead of 161 with a total of 285. Inam-ul-Haq made 101, while Ali Raza took 4 wickets. PWD again showed poor display of batting in their 2nd innings and got out for 155. Tahir Mughal and Faisal Afridi took 5 and 3 wickets each.

HBL v NBP
HBL lost three points in an important match against NBP. HBL won the toss and restricted NBP to 265, Asadullah Butt and Sajid Shah took 4 and 3 each. HBL batsmen could not face the Pakistan leggie, Mushtaq Ahmed and were bowled out at 223, with Mushie grabbing 5 wickets giving NBP 42 runs lead. NBP scored 201 losing 8 wickets as the match ended in a draw. Akhtar Sarfraz scored 82.

SGCP v WAPDA
WAPDA won by 6 runs in an exciting match against SGCP. After winning the toss WAPDA scored 157. Kashif Rasheed was top scorer with 68 while Wasim Khan took 5. But SGCP could not take up the advantage and were bowled out at 142. Waqas Ahmed and Kashif Raza took 5 and 4 each. SGCP pacer Abdur Rauf's splendid spell of 6 wickets brought them back into the game and bowled NBP out for 104 in their 2nd innings. SGCP had to score only 120 runs but the inexperienced side was out at 113. Waqas Ahmed was the match winner with 6 wickets.
