New Standard Bank Cricket Clothing unveiled Ros Goldin - 15 November 2001
The UCB is excited about the new Standard Bank Cricket Clothing, which was unveiled in Johannesburg yesterday for the provincial 2001/2 season. The new kit ranks with that of the top international sports brands and gives the Standard Bank Cup a new face for the season. The clothing is made from Moisture Management Fabric, a fabric type that was first used by the All Black rugby team. Standard Bank has revolutionized domestic cricket with its clothing for the new season, introducing not only great sports garments, but fashionable items which will be merchandised and available to the public through various retail chains. The UCB is proud of the association with Standard Bank and with their valued efforts to add to the excitement of domestic South African cricket. While player performance is a priority, playing kit is an important contributor to building the domestic brand. © United Cricket Board of South Africa
