Selections
Matt Nicholson Marcus North and Chris Rogers replace Adam Gilchrist,
Justin Langer and Jo Angel - from the team that defeated the Tasmanian
Tigers in Hobart on November 3rd in the ING Cup.
Previous Encounter
Last season the Western Warriors lost by two runs in their limited overs
contest v the Redbacks, at the Adelaide Oval on 9 December.
Batting first the Redbacks compiled 7-260 from their 50 overs, with
David Fitzgerald scoring 103 and Daren Lehman 63.
For the Western Warriors, Brendon Julian claimed 4-41 from his ten
overs.
The mainstays of the Warrior's innings of 7-258 were, Langer 88, Goodwin
70 and Gilchrist 46. Greg Blewett took 4-33 from five overs for the
Redbacks.
