Sean Ervine
Wisden CricInfo staff - October 10, 2001
Wisden overview A surprise pick for an understrength Zimbabwean side, Sean Ervine made his one-day debut in the fourth match of England's tour in October 2001. Primarily a medium-paced outswinger with a frantic whirling action, he has a peroxide hairstyle reminiscent of Australia's Colin "Funky" Miller. Ervine's year at Zimbabwe's CFX Academy was disrupted by a knee injury, though he recovered sufficiently to captain the side on his first-class debut. As a batsman he professes to have all the strokes, but they have yet to be tested at the highest level. Andrew Miller
