England blood new boys Wisden CricInfo staff - October 1, 2001
HARARE (Reuters) Gloucestershire offspinner Jeremy Snape, Essex wicketkeeper James Foster, Sussex right-arm fast-medium bowler James Kirtley and Yorkshire seamer Matthew Hoggard will all make their first one-day starts for England today. Hoggard has played two Test matches but has never featured in a limited overs international. The match is England's only chance to prepare ahead of the first of five one-day internationals against Zimbabwe at the Harare Sports Club starting on Wednesday. Nasser Hussain will lead the team, which includes Graham Thorpe as a late replacement for the injured Craig White.
