Yorkshire increase subscriptions to help to continue success Media Release - 5 October 2001
Following the success of the 2001 season which saw the County Championship return to Yorkshire after an absence of 33 years Yorkshire County Cricket Club have today announced that they will be increasing their subscriptions for the 2002 season. After such a successful year on the playing field the Club feel that in order to continue at the high level they have achieved and maintain a strong squad and the development of the Yorkshire Academy they need to maximise all areas of income. The increase that the Committee have agreed will be 20% making the full Membership rate £101 (Senior Citizens £78) a figure which still compares favourably with other counties. All existing benefits including free admission to selected Yorkshire Race Course meetings will be retained and the Club's Marketing Department is currently working on further enhancements. © Yorkshire CCC
