Collapse puts New Zealand on back foot

New Zealand has struggled to 5-142 at lunch on the fourth and final day of its Tour match with the Queensland Academy of Sport at Allan Border Field in Brisbane.
After resuming at 1-25 the Black Caps were hoping for some solid batting practice but a middle order collapse has seen them restricted to a lead of 172.
At the break Adam Parore is unbeaten on 19 while captain Stephen Fleming is unbeaten on 11.
The batsmen out Matthew Bell for 22, Nathan Astle for 7, Mathew Sinclair for 57 and Craig McMillan for 15.
For the Queensland Academy of Sport offspinner Nathan Hauritz has the figures of 2-56.
