Saturday's hero Keith Parsons has been called up to join the sqaud to face lowly placed Essex, in Somerset's penultimate CricInfo Championship match which gets underway at Chelmsford tomorrow.

The full squad that has travelled to Essex is, Jamie Cox, Peter Bowler, Matthew Wood, Ian Blackwell, Mike Burns, Rob Turner, Keith Parsons, Keith Dutch, Richard Johnson, Steffan Jones, Jamie Grove and Jason Kerr.

Earlier this evening Somerset Coach Kevin Shine told me: "We will be looking for maximum points from this match, to ensure that we retain second place in the CricInfo Championship which will put pressure on us. There will be a decent wicket at Chelmsford, and Essex will be looking for home advantage, but we have a good team and are in a strong position."
