On 21 April 2002, during the first match of the three-match one-day series between Pakistan and New Zealand at Karachi, Yousuf Youhana smashed a brilliant 125 off 155 balls to help his side reach a daunting total of 275. In reply, New Zealand floundered and was dismissed for just 122, losing by a huge margin of 153 runs. It thus provided only the 19th instance in the history of the shorter version of the game when an individual player's score was more than the opponents' completed innings total. Youhana was also involved in the same feat in his last match against Sri Lanka at Sharjah last week.

For record, the 135 run difference between Sanath Jayasuriya's 189 and India's total of 54 is the largest differential between a side's total and a single opponent player in the annals of ODI's.
