Floodlit Fun Returns to Riverside
Durham CCC Press Release - 12 August 2002

This Wednesday sees the return of floodlit cricket to the Riverside with Norwich Union League action against Glamorgan Dragons.

As well as being a great event for the fans, the match is also a chance for the Dynamos to move out of the relegation zone in Division One. Sunday's win against Leicestershire Foxes means the Dynamos will be in high spirits and determined to produce another victory.

Floodlit cricket is proving more popular than ever and Wednesday's game looks set to provide entertainment for all the family with the Universal KidZone available throughout the evening. This is a fully supervised area where children can take part in a variety of ball games, receive cricket coaching, go on bouncy castles or even have their faces painted. All the activities are free of charge.

Durham are hoping for a large crowd for this 45 over a side clash with play starting at 4.10pm and continuing until 10.20pm. Tickets for non-members are £10 in advance and £5 for juniors (under 18s). A family ticket (2 adults and 3 children) is only £25 in advance. Gates open at 2.00pm. Call the Ticket Hotline on 0191 387 1717.
