Worcestershire go back to the top of the NUL
Andrew Hignell - 20 August 2002

Worcestershire moved back to the top of Division One in the Norwich Union League with an 8 wicket victory last night against Warwickshire.

Their victory puts them two points ahead of Glamorgan, but the Welsh county have a game in hand over Worcestershire, and they will move back on top of the table if they defeat Nottinghamshire next Monday at Colwyn Bay.

In early July, Glamorgan defeated Nottinghamshire by 8 wickets at Trent Bridge, but over the past couple of days, Nottinghamshire have returned to form by completing back-to-back victories over Somerset.

Glamorgan`s match with Nottinghamshire at Colwyn Bay will start at 1.00pm on Bank Holiday Monday, 26th August. Glamorgan Members will be admitted free of charge, while the admission price for non-members is : £12 for adults and £6 for juniors (16 or under) and senior citizens. Tickets can be purchased on the gate on the day, and a large crowd is expected. There will also be a complete ban on alcohol being brought into the ground.
