Bond to be rested for third ODI New Zealand Cricket - 31 December 2002
Shane Bond is to be rested for tomorrow's third National Bank Series One-Day International against India, TelstraClear Black Caps manager Jeff Crowe announced at the team's press conference this morning. "Shane has a slight side strain and it was thought best to rest him as a precautionary measure," Crowe said. Michael Mason will replace Bond in the side for the January 1 ODI at Jade Stadium. © New Zealand Cricket
