How did you first get involved in cricket?
My brother represented the old South West Africa Schools Team. Got my interest from him

Who had the greatest influence on your early career and why?
Steven Jones. Created a cricket culture of hardness and competitiveness at school level and also helped me to start thinking about the game from an early age. Neil Lenham. Definitely the best technical coach I've ever came across.

What is the most memorable moment of your career?
Scoring a century in the game against Scotland that helped Namibia qualify for the 2003 World Cup

What is the most disappointing moment of your career? Losing to Holland in the final of the ICC tournament of the last ball of the match

Which Namibian player do you think might make the biggest impact at the World Cup?
Top order batsman Gavin Murgatroyd and fast bowler Bjorn Kotze

Which of the younger Namibian players do you expect to make the biggest impact in the next few years?
All rounder Burton van Rooi, opening batsman Riaan Walters, Current under 19 captain Stefan Swanepoel and Bjorn Kotze

Which batsman is most capable of dominating an attack at the non-Test international level?
Steve Tikolo of Kenya and Gavin Murgatroyd of Namibia

Who is the hardest player (in opposing teams) to get out at the non-Test international level?
Difficult question because we haven't played a lot of international cricket but Muneeb Diwan of Canada and Colin Smith, the 'keeper of Scotland are both very good players. Also Tim de Leede of Holland.

Who is the most difficult bowler to face at the non-Test international level?
I think Roland Lefebvre gets my pick because of his subtle change of pace and acuracy

What specific area has improved the most since non-Test cricket started becoming more professional?
I think the overall quality of the game have improved through regular tournaments being held between non test plyaing countries

What should be done to improve the standard of cricket at the non-Test level?
More tournaments like the emerging nations tournament in April in Namibia. Also more tours of test playing countries "A-sides"
