PCB Chairman condoles death of former Test cricketer Afaq Hussain
Pakistan Cricket Board - 26 February 2002

Chairman PCB, Lt Gen Tauqir Zia has condoled the death of former Test cricketer Afaq Hussain, Who passed away in Karachi on Sunday (February 24, 2002). A right-arm off-break bowler and a useful lower order right-hand bat, he represented Pakistan in two Tests against England and Australia respectively, besides representing PIA and other leading teams in domestic cricket for a number of years.

In a message to the wife of late cricketer, Chairman PCB expressed deep condolences on his own behalf and on behalf of the PCB.

Chairman PCB, in another message addressed to international umpire and former Test cricketer Nadeem Ghouri, condoled the death of his father-in-law, Mian Mohammad Aslam Ghouri who had passed away in Lahore on Saturday.
