New Secretary of Interim Committee
BCCSL - 17 January 2002

The Minister of Youth Affairs & Sports, in a letter dated January 15, 2002, has appointed Mr. Kushil Gunasekera as Secretary of the Interim Committee of the Board of Control for Cricket in Sri Lanka.

Mr. Gunasekera was appointed a Member of the Interim Committee on the 15th of November 2001, and is the Chairman of the Tour Organizing Committee. He was earlier the Co-ordinating Secretary to the Interim Committee, and was the Secretary for the Under-19 World Cup which was successfully conducted in Sri Lanka early last year.

The other members of the Interim Committee are Mr. Vijaya Malalasekera (Chairman), Mr. Michael Tissera, Mr. Sidath Wettimuny, Mr. Manil Jayasinghe, Mr. Nalin Ladduwahetty, and Mr. Ari Kannangara.
