McGrath back on top

SYDNEY - Australia's Glenn McGrath is back on top of PricewaterhouseCooper's list of the world's best bowlers while Adam Gilchrist is still rated the best batsman. McGrath's battle with Sri Lankan Muttiah Muralitharan for the top spot on the list, issued today, has seen the pair swap places but with only one point difference. South African Shaun Pollock is third and Australian Shane Warne fourth. Australian Test vice-captain Gilchrist (average 60) is 29 points ahead of Indian Sachin Tendulkar (57.58) and Pakistan's Inzamam-ul-Haq (49.40). Mahela Jayawardene (Sri Lanka) is fourth, West Indian Brian Lara fifth while Australia's Matthew Hayden is sixth with an average of 49.06.
