Robinson names Somerset Board XI side to face Cornwall at North Perrott tomorrow
Richard Walsh - 15 June 2002

The Somerset Cricket Board XI play their final match in the 38 County Cup when they entertain Cornwall at North Perrott CC, near Crewkerne tomorrow.

The Board XI have not enjoyed the best of luck with the weather in the 50 over competition and will be hoping to get a full day's play and record a victory over their minor county opposition.

Earlier today team manager Peter Robinson told me: "We can't go through to the next stages now, the winners of the group looking to be either Devon or Wiltshire. However we will be going out to try to get a result and the game will provide a good test for our young cricketer's."

The Somerset Board squad is: Tom Webley (Bournemouth Sports), Keith Parsons (Taunton St Andrew's) captain, Michael Coles (Bridgwater), Kevin Sedgebeer (Taunton St Andrew's), Wes Durston , Gareth Andrew and Tim Burt, (all Glastonbury) Steve Davis (Bridgwater), Matt Dimond (Taunton St Andrew's), Michael Parsons (Wembdon), Nat Price (Taunton St Andrew's) and Joe Tucker (Somerset CCC.)
