Loughborough University crowned UCCE 2-Day Champions

Congratulations to Loughborough who are crowned ECB UCCE Champions for the
2nd year running.
Second place was very close with Oxford UCCE and Cardiff/Glamorgan UCCE both finishing with 51 points. As the regulations state if two or more teams have the same number of points their positions will be based on the result of the match between them. The one gaining the most points in this match being placed higher. In their match on 29/30 April 2002 Oxford UCCE gained 7 points and Cardiff/Glamorgan UCCE 5 points.
This now means Loughborough UCCE and Oxford UCCE will compete in the UCCE One-Day Challenge Final at Lord's on Tuesday 2 July 2002.
