Pakistan Cricket Board - 6 March 2002
Saqlain Mushtaq and Mohammad Zahid have been released from the Pakistan squad to enable them to play in the National One Day Cricket Tournament.
Both the players are being made available under PCB policy, which Lays great emphasis on the appearance of its national players in the domestic competition.
Local players from the Pakistan U-19 squad, Kamran Sajid and Azhar Ali have been drafted to act as substitute fielders.
