Semi-Finals of Premier Division one Super Tournament 2001/02
BCCSL - 20 March 2002

NCC face Colts at the P. Saravanamuttu Stadium and Tamil Union play SSC at NCC Grounds in the Semi-Finals of the Premier Division 1 Super Tournament 2001/02, which will be played from the 21st to the 24th of March 2002.

NCC finished on top of the points table with 98.005 points, with Tamil Union second with 96.845 points, SSC third with 92.340 points and Colts fourth at 89.760 points.

The Final will be played at the SSC from the 29th of March to the 1st of April.

D.N. Pathirana and Gamini Dissanayake will be the umpires for the semi-final at the P. Saravanamuttu Stadium where the Match Referee will be Mahesh Gunatilleke, while D.A.S. Dissanayake and Ranmore Martinez will officiate at NCC where the Match Referee will be Don Anurasiri.

Meanwhile, the deciding match of the Premier Trophy Plate Championship 2001/02 will be played between Chilaw Marians and Sebastianites at the NCC Grounds from the 29th to the 31st of March. Chilaw Marians head the points table with 94.570 points, with Sebastianites second with 92.015 points. This match, which was scheduled to be played from the 22nd to the 24th of March, was postponed due to non-availability of the ground.
