Lt Gen Tauqir Zia, Chairman PCB, invited the Pakistan Blind Cricket Council on 4th November 2002 for a meeting in Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore to discuss the problems in the participating in the 2nd World Cup.

PBCC is very happy that the Chairman PCB accepted PBCC as the only and genuine national organization dedicated to cricket for the blind in Pakistan and agreed to provide air tickets for the Pakistan Blind Cricket Team.

PBCC is thankful to the Chairman PCB for his timely decision and for providing the air tickets. PBCC hopes that PCB will continue to cooperate with Pakistan Blind Cricket Council and will affiliate them as soon as possible.

The last hurdles remaining are to overcome the problem of expenses for the training camp, official uniform, playing kits, medical supplies and equipment for the world cup squad. These expenses are estimated to be approximately Rs 261,800/.
