Pakistan to tour England for 3 ODI's in June 2003
Pakistan Cricket Board - 13 November 2002

Pakistan will visit England next year in June for three one-day internationals to be played at Old Trafford, Oval and Lord's on June 17, 20 and 22. The schedule of the tour was discussed and finalized by the two boards earlier this week.

"The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) invited us for the series last year and we accepted the proposal because the team had no commitments then", PCB General Manager Cricket Operations, Zakir Khan, said.

Pakistan, immediately after the World Cup in South Africa, is to appear in a Sharjah tournament in April and then host India for three Tests and as many one-day internationals between April 8 and May 15. But the tour is subject to New Delhi's approval. After the tour to England, Pakistan will proceed to Sri Lanka for three Tests and three one-day internationals and will then return to host Bangladesh and South Africa.

The following is England tour itinerary:

June 5: Arrival and transfer to Edinburgh
June 7: one-day match v Scotland at Edinburgh
June 9: one-day match v Essex, Chelmsford
June 11: one-day match v (Northants or Hants or Sussex)
June 14: one-day match v Leicestershire, Grace Road
June 17: First one-day international at Old Trafford (day/night)
June 20: Second one-day international at Oval
June 22: Third one-day international at Lord's
June 23: Departure
