Naturally right-handed, Barney Rogers had his technique rewired by his cricket-loving father, on the basis that the strongest hand should be at the top of the bat. The coaching has paid dividends, as Rogers is a fluent scorer all around the wicket, with a particular penchant for the cover drive.
