The TelstraClear Black Caps play South Africa in Colombo today in a one-day practice match as part of the build up to their defence of the ICC Champions Trophy.

The practice match follows last week's training camp in Sydney during which the TelstraClear Black Caps won two one-day practice matches against New South Wales and two against Tasmania.

The team to play South Africa today is: Stephen Fleming, Nathan Astle, Mathew Sinclair, Lou Vincent, Scott Styris, Chris Harris, Jacob Oram, Daniel Vettori, Kyle Mills, Shane Bond, Paul Hitchcock.

The TelstraClear Black Caps will then play Zimbabwe in a one-day practice match tomorrow.

The TelstraClear Black Caps' first match of the ICC Champions Trophy is on Sunday (September 15) against Australia.

As both teams are expected to beat Bangladesh the TelstraClear Black Caps must beat Australia on Sunday if they are to progress further in the competition.
