A technically accomplished middle-order batsman, Mazharul Haque is seen by many in Bangladesh as their best No. 3 batsman. A stint in the Australian Cricket Academy helped hone his skills, and he was the best batsman for Bangladesh A in the Busta Cup in the West Indies in the 2001-02 season.
