1996 World Cup Profile:

The vice-captain of the Kenyan side, Asif Karim plays league cricket for the Nairobi Jafferys Sports Club. Karim is a left arm orthodox spinner, and a useful right-handed lower order batsman. He is probably the best spinner in the country and certainly the most thoughtful. Karim has a good variation of flight and length, and is consistently amongst the wickets in the Kenyan leagues. With a wealth of experience in 3 ICC tournaments, he has also captained Kenya, both in cricket, and in the Davis Cup tournament as an excellent tennis player. Thanks :: Dipesh Patel
