1996 World Cup Profile:
The vice-captain of the Kenyan side, Asif Karim plays league cricket for the Nairobi Jafferys Sports Club. Karim is a left arm orthodox spinner, and a useful right-handed lower order batsman. He is probably the best spinner in the country and certainly the most thoughtful. Karim has a good variation of flight and length, and is consistently amongst the wickets in the Kenyan leagues.
