1996 World Cup Profile:

Pat Symcox is one of the spinners who has been in and out of the South African side. A tall off-spinner, Symcox is an aggressive bowler who at times can turn the ball sharply. He has struggled to be consistent because of the fact that he is in and out of the South African side. He is, however, a valuable one-day player with the ability to bowl tightly and score runs coming in down the order. His fielding however, often lets him down.
