HOLDER, ROLAND Irwin Christopher. A stylish, middleorder batsman, he`s taken time to settle at higher level, but has been on the brink of Test selection for the past two years. Preferred to Keith Arthurton for the recent tours of Sharjah and Australia, Holder has staked claim for the 5th batsman in the one- day eleven, with good performances against an Australian XI and in his sole World Series Cup appearance. A hundred in a Red Stripe Cup match in late January of this year has done his chances no harm, and it will be interesting to see the returns of Holder should he gain selection to the starting eleven.help@cricinfo.com
