Mark Ealham on tour with England

England v India, Sun 11 April: 

England have now lost three matches in a row and are out of the 
final of the Sharjah Cup (although they play one match against 
Pakistan on Monday). At the weekend they went down to India by 
nine runs after being set 240 for victory. Kent's Mark Ealham 
took 1 for 41 in the Indian innings but could make only 7 with 
the bat before being run out by Jadeja. See our Sharjah Cup pages

Kent play Middlesex at Lord's on Tuesday in their first County 
Championship match of the season. As for past years, we will have 
scorecards and reports here on CricInfo at the end of each day (more
regular intervals for some games). The first home game of the season is
against Lancashire in the new National League (1st division) on Sunday
18th April. The match at Lord's begins at 11am, whilst the Canterbury
fixture starts at half-past one.
